Energy policy

The objectives of the energy policies pursued by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs are efficiency, supply security and environmental sustainability. The guidelines to that end are outlined in Bavaria's energy concept, "Energie innovativ".

Following the reactor accident in Japan, German and Bavarian energy policies have taken on the task of accelerating restructuring of our energy supply to become a system free of nuclear energy and largely based on renewable energies, with as few CO2-emissions as possible.
